Lori Tingay

Lori Tingay has been a part-time professional singer for many years.  She trained as a classical lyric soprano and has worked at both ends of the musical scale, from oratorio to the club and cabaret circuit.  In addition Lori has taken lead roles in many semi-professional and local musicals and operettas including;  Chess, Oliver!, Patience, My Fair Lady, Ruddigore, Princess Ida, Guys & Dolls, Carousel, Annie Get Your Gun and Half A Sixpence. Most recently she appeared in Lucia di Lammermoor with the Bearwood Opera Company in Wokingham.    She has also worked in touring cabaret performing Gershwin, Porter and Coward and in trios and duos.  Lori is one half of  Due Cantati, singing for weddings and private functions and she also runs musical theatre and drama workshops for local dance and stage schools.    She is a freelance voice and communication skills coach and trainer, NLP practitioner and a part-time singing teacher at Gordon's School in Woking.  Lori enjoys the variety of performance which singing with the Reading Male Voice Choir gives her.
